DCHS 2025 Calendar Photo Contest!
Information:
DCHS is holding a photo contest for anyone to submit photos to be produced in a 2025 "Dorchester County" calendar!

Winners will be credited and will receive their own copy of the calendar, which will be printed and sold at the end of 2024.

Things to Know

Any individual can enter, whether they are an amateur or professional photographer!

For each month, we will select at least one winning photo that best fits each given category.

The deadline for entries is August 15th, 2024. Winners will be notified shortly thereafter.

Everything from old black and white photos to new digital photos are accepted as long as they are recognizably Dorchester County.

Please refrain from submitting previously published photos. Only submit photos that belong to you. Any submissions that do not follow these rules will be disqualified.
Keep in mind that this calendar's overall theme is "Dorchester County." Entries are chosen based on two primary criteria: their connection to Dorchester County and their visual impact.
How to Enter

Any individual can enter, whether they are an amateur or professional photographer!

You can pay to enter up to three entries for $10.00, and each additional entry is $5.00.

Follow this link to pay and fill in your submission information at checkout, then email us the digital files.

View the "Entry Categories" below to see how entries will be selected for each month of our calendar. You may request that your entry be reviewed for a particular category, though each entry will be considered for all categories of this contest.

Make sure you send us high resolution, clear images that will print well! We ask for photos to be formatted to one of the following file types: .jpeg, .jpg, or .png.

When sending us an email with your entries, make sure to include your name (this should match the name entered when you paid for your entries). Please also include any pertinent details you may have about the photos themselves, such as approximately where/when they were taken, for instance. It will also help if you label any attached files in a format similar (does not have to be exact) to the following: "YourLastName_DCHSCalendar."
